Sunrise over San Francisco Bay After my very early morning in San Francisco, I started moving my way further up the mountain. The orientation of the bridges kept changing relative to one another with Oakland in the background. Once I got up high enough, I affixed the 28-300mm to the body, zoomed in, and got this shot.I was lucky that the morning mist/fog gave a nice sheen to everything. I kind of wish I lived in SF. I think I would force myself to get up here every day for a year... and see the different light every single day.- Trey RatcliffRead the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Here in The Baths in Virgin Gorda, my friend Justin helped me find this secret little cave. And it's just as inviting as it looks. You can just slide effortlessly right into that water and swim out into the warm blue beyond. The Baths, Virgin Gorda Click here to read the entire post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
This has become one of my favorite remote waterfalls in the world! Whenever I am taking photos of these places, I spend a lot of time there. I often imagine what it would be like to tumble over the edge… wondering various ways I could survive… if I’d get caught in a whirlpool underwater… or if I would just pop up like in the movies. If you are ever near Akureyri, I suggest you visit this spot… if you are feeling bold, clamber down the side of the waterfall like I did here to get this shot… Akureyri, Iceland
