We took a helicopter over towards Wanaka one day to this place, the Snow Farm. I had never been here before. There's all kinds of stuff going on. Dogsledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, etc. Anyway, one of the other special areas here is the car testing area. They have secret next-year models of Alfa Romeos, Mercedes, Audi, etc. A lot of these secret cars have strange metallic paint that is hard to photograph and more to keep them secret. Obviously, I had permission to take this one photo. See that long building back there behind it? That's full of the new models of cars over the next few years… super secret! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Navigating Across the Rivers of New Zealand in the Morning Mists I woke up in the morning before everyone else to go on an extended scouting mission. I arrived around this river just as the morning mists were lifting enough to give me a view into the distance.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
We didn't make it here until our final night in Barcelona. Even though it was the middle of summer, it was a chilly and very windy night up here. There's one very strange thing about this place: there's an amusement park all around this old church. And it's a strange amusement park too. It's kind of cheapo and reminds me of a run-down Chinese amusement park from the 60's. The kids seemed to enjoy it though… that's all that matters. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
