As we finished the walk down there, about 1 AM, I stayed back a little bit to take this photo of our crew walking back to the camp. We were lucky in a way because a huge blizzard had come through to drop fresh snow everywhere… the wind calmed down and it was perfect for our walk. After the walk, my friend Stu and I went out towards the glacier and had a 2 AM vodka and figured out a lot of the world's problems together. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Wow… I've been to Chicago many times, but never even seen this amazing fountain! How is that possible? I don't know… but I was really happy to be here this evening… what a perfect day and night in Chicago. And so many passionate photographers! We gotta do that again! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Here's a quick shot I got in Venice one day with the RX100. I use that camera a lot for quick “street photos” — it's so darn fast and easy to use that I can get super-sharp and quick photos. I think it takes like 16 pictures in a second or something so you can be sure to have a lot to choose from. I guess it kind of feels like cheating to take so many photos… but I think the use of any kind of artifice in a creative process is noble! :) - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
