I think London at night is one of the most amazing experiences ever… especially when there's a bit of rain to make all the lights come even more alive. I visited this area late one night after going to see a very strange (but good) theater show. It put me into quite an unusual mood, which set a good brain space for this kind of wandering! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
It was a lightly cool morning, but the morning had that feeling like it would slowly warm, even while standing there. I was returning from an overnight photo adventure and took a hike along the shores of Lake Wakatipu, which according to Maori legend, was created after a gigantic ogre was burned to make the hollow. The Towering Night Temple I was walking through this street with my new friends Uday Phalgun and Priscilla Dorresteijn one evening. We stopped every few buildings to take photos. The street was fairly well lit and there was quite a bit of commotion. I did my best to get long exposures that stayed quite dark so that the people were blurred out and I could keep the dark essence of the scene. I went into manual mode to accomplish this on the NEX — setting a very high aperture and a long shutter speed. - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
