Here’s yet another amazing place in Utah that I’ve never been until just recently. You know how politicians try to gerrymander the county lines so they get votes from certain kinds of people? I think Utah did this back in the day to make sure all the awesome geographical anomalies were inside their borders! They are kind of spread out, however. What an amazing spot this is! After spending about three weeks in Morocco, I finally approached this incredible fortified city. It is right in the middle of a caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech, which is the same route I was on! This place is mostly abandoned, but there are still eight families that live on the inside…There have been many famous movies made here including The Last Temptation of Christ, Kundun, The Mummy, Gladiator, and The Prince of Persia. Finding this little spot was kind of lucky! It was really found because I was hiding from security in the bushes. I didn't know if I was in trouble or not for being down here at night. Maybe I have a guilty conscience and that makes me paranoid. It's not paranoia if it's true – haha! Anyway, I was hiding in the bushes probably near a bunch of scary Thai snakes, and I saw this really nice reflection off the water.
