I do travel a lot to take photos, and I absolutely love it. I don't take a single minute of it for granted, and I don't take a single click of the camera for granted. But the idea that I get to come home to this, to New Zealand, is something that I don't think I'll ever get used to. Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
This is one of the places we stopped on our little wine tour a few weeks ago. It was a great lunch that we had with a little bit of time left over for photos. Well, naturally, we made sure there WAS extra time left over for photos! I was very happy to experiment with the fisheye lens while I was in Paris. I borrowed my friend, and yours, Tom’s, and that pushed me over the edge to buying one for myself. Prior to this, I had rented one, but never really liked it very much. I think maybe because I took a lot of people photos, and they were just tooooo artsy and weird for me (which is saying a lot), but I really found using the fisheye on architecture and things like this to be a lot of fun! By the way, how cool is this hotel? It's called Hotel Banke and it's a little over the top, but I'd expect nothing less in Paris. Paris, France
