We were here in the middle of winter, and the water was still very nice. I can't imagine how nice it is in the summer! It was certainly better than being stuck in a cold place for the winter… don't get me wrong… you know I live in the mountains of New Zealand, so obviously I like wearing layers, a crackling fire, and hot cocoa, but a beach like this is a welcome respite! -Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this entry at the Stuck in Customs blog.
I feel like I don't even need a description for this photo, as I can't say anything more than the title. Well, maybe some background. I was on this TED-like cruise called Summit at Sea. I kept running into these monks over and over again, mostly on the elevator. We would always have very deep conversations that would only last 3 minutes. Then, one evening as the sun was setting, I saw my two friends taking photos of one another like a couple of schoolgirls – I thought it was great! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Here are two of my friends in full regalia at Halloween. They really did it up, eh? I was going to go to this party dressed as a unicorn, but my wife told me that would be stupid because no one else would be in costume. I finally agreed since I try not to make her mad. But then we got there and almost everyone was in costume. Oh well. Unicorn next year. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
