I saw this view many times per day during my week there! Outside, they had this rather evil “cold-dip” that was slightly above freezing level and then the panacea of a nearby hot tub. So I would go back and forth at least three times to make sure my legs and general soreness got that bloodflow it needed. I was not really a believer in this till I tried it. I thought it was just something athletes did to pretend to be tough or maybe it was some old wives' tale — but no, it really works! Anyway, this is the view I would see when slowly sinking into the cold dip…- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
They put such an amazing amount of detail into all the little places on these Disney cruises. I don't know where they find interior decorators that can do all this crazy stuff, but then again, that whole world of interior decorating is a total mystery to me! Like, if someone came up to me and said, okay Trey, we want you to design an entire bar on the idea of a classic Cadillac. Man, I would have no idea what the heck to do or where to even start… that takes a very different kind of brain, I think!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Flying along the PCH south of San Francisco, the road gets extremely curvy. I remember when I was a kid driving along here with my sister. She got really sick and threw up all over my grammie's face, which was super hilarious. I was dying laughing… everyone was except for Bianca. Haha jeez… anyway, now that I drive up and down it, I'm reminded of how curvy it is! On this particular evening, there was one of those super-wet air layers that was sweeping in from the sea… somewhere between cool fog and wet mist.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
