Big Cities and Little 'uns
It was a long and windy drive from Aït Benhaddou to Marrakech, but it was totally stunning. There were about ten other places I wanted to stop in the mountains, but I didn't have the time. But maybe this one mosque was just enough. I was surprised there was still snow on the mountains, and it made for the perfect background.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
This lake is perfectly smooth maybe only one out of ten days. One day we were flying over it with Choppy from Over The Top Helicopters, and it was mirror-glass-smooth! So amazing! I asked her to take the chopper down nice and low so we could get a clean shot. I set the camera to manual mode and amped up the shutter speed to make sure I got a clean shot. Wow, what a view! I'm glad it came out as awesome in the final photo as it looked when I was there!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
There are thousands of little rivers that flow through these huge karst mountains. Fisherman have been around here forever, and I like this idea that this scene could have happened almost any time in history. There are fewer fishermen nowadays, but they can still be seen. We were with some locals that knew some of the fisherman, so we were able to go out on another boat to find them… He looked so cool from a distance as we were approaching, so I tried to grab the photo in that style.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
