This is at the top of a rather sweaty and humid climb a few days ago here above Xingping in Guangxi, China. In fact, it may be the absolute sweatiest I have ever been. I remember starting out and going slow thinking… okay… I'm gonna take it easy… gonna take it easy… and then the heat and humidity hit and I was like… awwww no…. it's on now… it's on… so then I just started working it all the way up. Oh man – clothes were flying off left and right by the time I got to the top… but I got there just in time to take this photo!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Approaching Mount Fuji from the Old Village What a perfect place this is!I’ve been to Japan many times, but I never had the chance to visit Mt. Fuji! This time, Tom and I made a point to do it, and this was one of our fist stops. You can see much more about it in the video above!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Super Moon sets over Queenstown So… you’ve been coming to the blog for, what, six+ years, yes? Well, maybe…hehe… AND, if you’ve been coming all that time, you might have noticed that I have NEVER posted a photo of the moon. Why is that, you wonder? The main reason is because I’ve always gotten absolutely terrible moon photos. Until now! I finally got one that I am kinda happy with… I shot this in the morning yesterday when I walked out to my studio.I saw it setting behind the mountain near my house, so I got out my NEX-7 with the 55-210mm lens and shot away. This is just one exposure… one RAW file. It worked out well because all the light levels were about the same with the pink in the sky and the snow and the white moon behind the purple cloud… - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
