Trey Ratcliff - NEX7- Disney Final Day (417 of 549)
Indy via Sony NEX-7
The new review is up! See the Sony NEX-7 Review.I bought one a few weeks ago and have been using it quite a bit. I really like the camera! This is a scene from the Indiana Jones Show at Disneyworld. I was sitting back in the audience, and I used the kit lens to zoom all the way in as close as I could. I could crop and still get an image that was 5200 pixels across!Since I was able to take so many photos so quickly, I was able to pluck out the frame that had the most interesting action -- when the big German guy flipped up Indy into the air...- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of the post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
I zoomed in with the kit lens to get this shot. I was sitting back in the audience about 200 feet away, so I could not quite get in tight enough. But thanks to the 24 megapixels, I was still able to crop in to get a clean shot.
Tattooed Girl with Umbrella
One hard thing about Burning Man is not "getting used to" everything around you. Believe it or not, after a few days, seeing interesting people wearing crazy clothes and doing wonderful things becomes quite commonplace. It's kind of like living inside a non-stop Cirque-de-soleil!I was riding by on my bike and there was another photographer taking photos of this girl. He had just finished, so I swooped in, jumped off my bike, and took a quick photo. I felt a little bad about jumping in at the end of his photoshoot, but I figured that the Burning-Man-chill-attitude would make everything okay... and I think it did!- Trey RatcliffRead the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
