The Lincoln Memorial
I got this photo in a hurry. I bet I raised a few security alarms too because of my unusual behavior.

I didn't have much time, so I had my wife drive nearby and park illegally on the curb for a few minutes. She wasn't a fan of that, but let's not talk about this right now. So, I jumped out of the car, hauled my tripod out of the trunk, and dashed across the green hill towards the memorial. I grabbed photos in a rushed way and dashed back to the car and sped away.

The Pub Now, I did not take this one on the PhotoWalk in Austin -- at least, not on THIS PhotoWalk. My apologizes, but this has been a busy time for me and I haven't had a lot of time to process the most recent photos from SXSW! I do have a few, and they are coming up quite soon. Also, you can tell this was taken in the winter, because the sign mentions that the rooftop is heated. In the Texas summer, all rooftops are automatically heated!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Harleyfest on 6th Street This is one of the best times in Austin for HDR Photography! I really think it's perfect perfect conditions to really show off what this style of photography can do. Long exposures just don't do the trick. The wonderful thing about being there is that the human eye really can see all these colors and light levels at the same time. At least... to those of us that see like this. I'm convinced that after talking to countless groups that not everyone "sees" in the same way. It's not that one way is better than another - just different. What do you think?- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
