Entering the Chunnel I remember the day as a kid I first heard about the Chunnel (the famous tunnel that connects England and France). I wanted to go through it as soon as I could! Well, it took a long time but eventually it happened.I bought the tickets ahead of time and was sure to get to the station in London to take photos ahead of time. I love all train stations – old and new. Even the new train stations in London have sort of an old feel… it’s hard to explain.When I was on the train and we left the station, I decided to turn on the GPS on my Android. I’ll never forget it. I saw my little dot ripping across the English countryside. It was so awesome. The Bird’s Nest From Above I was at the top of this tower late one night in Beijing. It’s a cool tower (I don’t have a photo of it), but it’s the kind of tower that will look awful in about 10 years. Anyway, this photo is not about the tower.The famous Bird’s Nest stadium was spread out beneath me. When I saw this scene, I knew I was going to shave off the top and the bottom. The bottom was kind of interesting. The top was dreadful. The Louvre in Heavy Clouds People are always around this thing! If you've been there, then you know what I mean... getting a clean shot is almost impossible, unless you visit just after sunrise. In this case, I don't photoshop out the people, but I minimize them... so the photo isn't really about the people, it's about the Louvre. Tableau Vivant of California Dudes I've had a nice ten days or so here in California. I started in LA, went up to San Francisco, then came back down here just before the Oscars. My agent invited me to some fancy-schmancy party in Hollywood. It was quite a problem to figure out what to wear to something like that. I felt like a girl. I mean, with the confused-about-what-to-wear thing... this is not something I usually think that much about.It was interesting and fun. I didn't even really fit in... here's the basic conversation: "Are you a director?" No. "Are you an actor?" No. "Oh, you must be a producer!?" No.But that night, I ended up staying at the Hotel California. I put a little photo there to the right... I found out I could check out any time I liked but...And for our California photo above, here's a bunch of guys that I guess have nothing better to do than walk around the beach all day with incredible bodies. Wicked London So, I just got finished watching Wicked in London. It was a very cool experience. I would have enjoyed getting a few more shots of the environs and actors/actresses -- maybe next time! I was at the top of this tower late one night in Beijing. It’s a cool tower (I don’t have a photo of it), but it’s the kind of tower that will look awful in about 10 years. Anyway, this photo is not about the tower.
