Kayaks Along Lake Wakatipu I’ve never taken a kayak out onto that lake. I’m not much of a kayaker, but also, I’m not a big fan of deep bodies of water. Actually, I will just go all the way from “not a big fan” to “outright afraid”. You never know what kind of nonsense is happening underneath you, you know? I don’t like swimming to being in a little boat on top of deep water. I don’t mind being in a big, sea-worthy boat. That’s fine. But swimming and being in a little boat… that’s not for me. This is strange, because I know it’s irrational. The Amazing Bridge in Sydney I think I took this during the Sydney photowalk – I am not sure! But those clouds seem very familiar. I took So Many Photos in Sydney… thousands… and I’ve processed hundreds so far. But I just can’t remember exactly when I took this one! Maybe someone from Sydney can confirm that I took this that evening.I really wanted to get up there on the bridge, but they don’t let you take your camera, which is a real bummer. I wish I could get special permission some time. Old Boats in the Afternoon Maybe I arrived in the low part of the tourist season, but I rarely saw these boats out and about on the river. They were always tied up here on the dockside. This was good for me, since it allowed many easy shots after I got around all the slippery bits. BTW, if you are by a dock in a small town in China, and the dock looks slippery, well it probably is SUPER SLIPPERY. Road Trip to the Moeraki Boulders We stayed overnight in a little town called Moeraki, which is not surprisingly right by the Moeraki Boulders. Epic Iceland I have many things in common with Tom. One of them is the love of “Epic” scenes. These mostly come from movies, but it spans many different pursuits. He’s the only other guy I met that can also quote scenes from Lawrence of Arabia.So, obviously I do like to find epic scenes in the world, and I feel like Iceland is full of them. The Epic Harbor of Buenos Aires I think I should not have been here. After I was roaming around this area, a few of my Argentine friends told me it was quite dangerous. Boston at Sunset Boston is great and I am sad I've only spent a short amount of time there. On this evening, I walked along the waterfront here to look at all the various angles and light levels. Boats on Lamma Island I don't think many people leave Hong Kong to come visit Lamma Island, but it is a nice jaunt. There is a nice hiking path around the island and it ends at this little harbor.
