Snow over the Creek There is a place called Pyramid Lake just past Glenorchy that is perfectly wonderful in the winter as long as you have the traction. This shot is from the end of last winter when I caught a little bit of snow. You’ll notice I don’t have a ton of snowy shots from NZ yet, but I think I’ll get a lot more this winter. I’m really looking forward to some good snowfalls, in fact! The Car Trip A few days ago, I posted a grouping of three photos from the car trip, so here are three more for you! Crossing Monkey Creek As you drive into Milford Sound, you may well decide that the drive itself is better than the destination. And that’s saying a lot, believe me! I think one of the best unofficial hikes is right around Monkey Creek here. It’s certainly worth parking your car and spending a few hours walking around the area.
