Afternoon at the Chateau Here is one of the many images created during the workshop. I decided I liked this slightly off-center version rather than right down the middle. I loved the one right down the middle too, of course, but just was giving the situation a bit of a curve-ball. Private Gardens in the Forbidden CityOn a recent trip to China, I was invited to a private residence inside the Forbidden City. I had a two-hour tea service that was pleasant and relaxing. Gardens in Paris It was a cool and rainy morning when we left our hotel in the Latin district of Paris. The rains stopped just as soon as we walked into the nearby gardens. The sun would peek out from between the clouds and splash some extra light on the flowers below.I took a bunch of photos before the sun came out, thinking it was the best I could do. But then after the sun came out, I had to run around and re-create the exact same photos with the proper lighting! Gardens in the Mist The Li River valley is a beautiful and serene area of southern China that's green, alive, and mysterious. The verdant limestone cliffs cover the landscape and give everything an ethereal feel.After a trip down the river, I got off the boat and decided to hike back to the little village where I was staying. Along the way, I decided to hike down a side-road that went off into these little family-run farms.
