Brushing a Miniature Horse We took another trip out to Kerry & Simon Brackstone’s farm in Gibbston with the kids. My two girls, Isabella and Scarlett, love that miniature horse! They spent a very long time brushing it… apparently this is something that all little girls enjoy doing. The Horse in Paradise Tom and I just took a drive out to Paradise, NZ (Yes, this is a real place!), just beyond Glenorchy. Along the way, we saw all kinds of amazing landscapes and dramatic animals. Man on Horse in Lijiang Square When I arrived into the middle of this opening within the tight city of Lijiang, a fresh rain had just made everything nice and slick. Isabella on a Miniature PonyA few evenings ago, we went to go visit The Brackstones, family friends that live nearby in Gibbston. Kerry Brackstone has taken to raising miniature ponies, so this sounded like something my two girls should not miss! We went over there for and the girls had an absolute ball on the ride. The Horse and Carriage I stayed in an amazing place when I was in the south of China, and every morning this horse and carriage would pull up in front. And, like any good model, the horse didn't complain while I went around and took a bunch of shots while fiddling with my camera.This photo was taken with my 50mm lens at ISO 200 f/1.4 and the shutter was 1/8000. I don't know why I just told you all that... I guess some people really like to know.
