The Dance Recital
I feel like I go to about 20 dance recitals a year! If you have a daughter in dance, then you know what I mean. This was a cold one, and I mean supa-cold. It was about 20 degrees outside, and then recital was, for some reason, outside. I was going to go sit down and cover up, but the blanket was only big enough for the rest of the family. So I decided to keep moving and take a lot of photos. I went back behind the crowd to get this one just before the show began...- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post, including my thoughts about dance recital photography policies, at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Alone at the Harbor
These mornings in Iceland -- I'll never get used to them. It's fully bright even though it's only 4 AM -- but the streets are dead. You expect to see at least one other soul out and about... but there are none. Maybe I play too many zombie games... or no, that can't be it... no such thing as too many zombie games! :)

The Ultimate Carnival I've been to Disney World many many times, but this is my first time as a grown-up to Disneyland. I always feel strange, by the way, calling myself a grown-up! Disneyland has two parks on the premises. This one is from California Adventures, the second and newer park. Towards the backside, there is this perfect street, full of carnival-like activities. - Trey Ratcliff Read the rest here at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Cutting the Wheat This shot is from the northern part of Montana, up where the fields go on forever. These nice crop rows are the ones that get caught in your eyes when you are driving by at super-sonic speeds...but you can still make out single rows like frames in an old movie.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
