The Pub Now, I did not take this one on the PhotoWalk in Austin -- at least, not on THIS PhotoWalk. My apologizes, but this has been a busy time for me and I haven't had a lot of time to process the most recent photos from SXSW! I do have a few, and they are coming up quite soon. Also, you can tell this was taken in the winter, because the sign mentions that the rooftop is heated. The Private Room It was a dark and mysterious set of serpentine stairs that brought us to this room. Where could it be? Who can identify it? You all are so hard to trick... None of these has ever stayed mysterious for more than 24 hours... but maybe, just maybe, we can have this one stay a mystery! And I know people zoom into 100% on these to look for clues... this one is a little messy at 100%, so I am a little embarrassed by that... I do figure that 98% of people look at it in the default "blog size", where it looks okay. - Trey Ratcliff Find out the answer here at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Hans Zimmer's Studio It takes me a long time to process these photos, as you guys know by now. This is good and bad... One side-benefit of the "good" is that it allows me to leave many open threads and story-lines that are continued for months and years on end (much like Lost, where certain bits get lost forever). For example, I know everyone is waiting to hear about the dead body I saw in Indonesia... people love dead body stories. But you have to wait for the next Indonesia street shot for that! Hehe...Today, I have three more photos from the studio. The second photo is of his grand piano where I assume his plans many of his compositions. He had a very cute photo there of his son, like any good dad. I normally don't re-arrange scenes, but I did move that photo to protect the privacy of the family.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.

Seeing this, I'll no longer fret the next time I need to go re-wire my home stereo.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Fed Ex Forum Awaiting the New Season I was lucky enough to get a tour of the Memphis Grizzlies home stadium when there was hardly anyone around. The Fed-Ex Forum is an amazing facility. I think it looks like a great place to go watch games. The surrounding downtown area is also very cool... seems like it would be a great way to spend a night out. I've never been in Memphis on game night, but I'll be sure to make that happen some time! Also I got to go back in the locker room and meet some of the players. The guys were so nice and affable... I couldn't get over it. I don't know what I expected, but they were just all really young nice dudes. And then I saw this little underwater rehab/training facility. It was really wide and had this conveyor belt that ran under water. I asked why it was so wide and was told it was originally used for horse rehab! Crazy...hehe...Memphis finally got a good pick in the draft... #2! That's great for those guys... go Grizzlies! - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Abandoned Harrods in Buenos Aires There are parts of Buenos Aires that are not too safe to walk around by yourself. This part was not so bad, but there were several abandoned stores around, including this Harrods. I was surprised to see such a nice store in a state of disrepair, especially after visiting its Valhalla-like anchor in London. Out front, there was a man playing the violin alone. It echoed around in a strange way through the acoustics of the tile, the roof, and the lonely streets. There was a Argentine rhythm he mixed into his playing that really made me feel like I was in a different place.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
