Hijinks in the Golden Fields And here we are a day before the workshop in New Zealand began, goofing off in the fields along the lakes and mountains of New Zealand. That’s Karen Hutton there taking a photo of Curtis Simmons. It’s very meta and all that. You can also see my new truck there on the right. It’s a Volkswagen Amorak. Who’s ever heard of that? Not me! I didn’t even know Volkswagen made trucks till I moved here. Everything here has a different name… it’s kind of like a parallel universe when it comes to cars. Bel in the Wind Have you been wondering who shot that incredible video we just released a few days ago? This girl! Bel Jones! (go to her website to see more about her and her own art! She followed me around for about a week to get all the footage, and then she edited it all together in just a few weeks to bring straight to you. I took this while we were up on a windy bluff on Deer Park heights.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Brushing a Miniature Horse We took another trip out to Kerry & Simon Brackstone’s farm in Gibbston with the kids. My two girls, Isabella and Scarlett, love that miniature horse! They spent a very long time brushing it… apparently this is something that all little girls enjoy doing. In The Sun I was working on some photos from Argentina (one from yesterday you might have noticed, and this was in the batch. Most of my Argentina shots were of rugged landscapes… so I thought maybe you might something a little less rugged here… :)- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Where the Bloody Walls Screamed Here is one of the many ill-forgotten and scary rooms in the chateau. Some were fully furnished and perfect, but others had fallen apart after years of neglect. Here is one of those many incredible rooms!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
