Los Angeles from the Hollywood Hills“The Hollywood Hills” is one of those areas I had always heard about but never visited. Rain in the highland cliffsThe rain in Hawaii never seemed to stop!But, the good news was that it kept everything green and glowing with a golden hue in the daytime. There is that kind of “wetness” of a place that is hard to describe. I hope I caught it okay here…Tom and I walked around this farm for a while before we were approached by people working there. They wanted to figure out what the heck we were doing, but once they saw we were just innocent photographers, they let us go ahead and take photos. The Lupines at SunsetSo here is a cool thing about this photo that one might not guess. This was taken with a Sony NEX-7 and the kit lens! Yes, the kit lens.This was shot on Baker Beach in San Francisco one evening when I was exploring…. A Night at the MuseumThis is one of the final photos I was able to squeeze off before the security guards nabbed me. Arg! I wanted to get so many more… but you know, you know… it’s the same old story.Anyway, if you ever visit Paris, you absolutely need to make it over here to the museum of natural history. It’s known to the locals, but not to visitors. The Black Void of CouchesThis is the amazing little restaurant that was attached to the opera in Beijing. The Valley Between Queenstown and ArrowtownSee that area down there? We’re in the middle of an epic house-hunting adventure right in the middle of it all.I took this photo a few days ago on a drive to Wanaka. It was so pretty, I just had to pull over to take it! In fact, maybe I need to make this drive more often!In the far distance is Queenstown, which is only about 15-20 mins from this spot. Down to the right, just beyond the edge, is nearby Arrowtown. Waterfall of Certain DoomThis has become one of my favorite remote waterfalls in the world! Whenever I am taking photos of these places, I spend a lot of time there.
