She walked around all four cardinal points of the compass around the temple, kneeling at each point, neck upturned to the sun. She worships under a baked skin she wears to hide and be seen. We are all invisible to her.

In the Park in San Francisco Our PhotoWalk in San Francisco ended in this spot. At first, I thought the photowalk would just take a few hours, but I think it ended up taking four or five! That’s okay, we had a good time and only got kicked out of one place… we ended up here in this fantastic park… the sun was shining and it was perfect to round things off. - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Comet in Queenstown On the night of the Aurora Australis, I was about to pack up and head back to the car when I saw this amazing aurora right over the top of my head. It made this long triangle across the ceiling of the sky, so I had to do that thing where I get my camera in that strange position on the tripod of pointing up. An Old Dock in the Lake A bit further down the road to Glenorchy is an old dock that has fallen into the lake over the years. You can pull off the road just about anywhere and take a very short little walk to see a bunch of things you can’t see otherwise. I sometimes force myself to pull over and just go for little jaunt off in one direction or another. I’m pretty good at visualizing what it might be like from the road, but there’s often hidden information back there…- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Exploring San Francisco from Above From on top of Twin Peaks in San Francisco, a good zoom lens when the fog rolls in can get a little crazy! The fog glows orange-red with all the lights and it feels a bit… apocalyptic. I took about 20 shots of this, and the fog would creep around this way and that. They all looked interesting, but in the end, I liked this one the best.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
