The Digital Aurora Borealis
There's not many places where you can get a colorful sky in the middle of the night. China seems to be one of the best places to have these strange digital phenomenon.

This place is called "The Place." It ranks right up there with some of the other awful names of Chinese locations. They should hire a poet or two so these places can sound more exotic. I'd be happier if it was called "Tomorrow Sky" or "The Sea of Matrix."

Big Sur Sunset
Last week I promised I would reveal the photo today that I took during the video above, and here it is.

I guess you can get the sense from that video how windy it was! What a crazy day... I spent all afternoon and evening getting ready for this. There was a decent amount of hiking, preparation, and walking-around to figure out the best place to stand.

Maybe the bad thing about that video is showing how easy it all appears to be... in future videos, you may see some more of the problems that I face and how I deal with them. In some ways, I think that is more real than something that appears to fairy-book perfect!

Inside My Secret Cloning Chamber I would love to have a mad scientist lab that is only accessible via a retinal scan and a special dance. Inside I would have all kinds of fabulous things, including a clone chamber where I would clone myself several times so that I could keep track of all my various social networks. The clone would, of course, have the same retina, but it could not gain access into the mad science lab because it would fail the special dance bit.I'd very much like to record a music video in here alongside Flight of the Conchords. As you can see from my intricate tagging system, this was shot in Chicago. Who is the first to know this location? And my Chicago insider is not allowed to say!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Silky Fountain This photo is one of the many I took that evening with Scott and Rick. I described the best way to get these silky strands on the waterfall… everyone likes those, right?- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The Neo Monoliths of Chicago After my meeting I headed downtown to see the new Millennium Park that recently opened. It was incredibly surreal and awesome. Here is a nice shot I grabbed... these are video walls that cycle in and out different pictures.- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
