Kabukicho

This small area inside Shinjuku is one of the more exciting areas of Tokyo. It's also quite seedy. But, like, Japanese-seedy so it's not as bad as like, New Orleans-seedy for example. Now New Orleans-seedy is about as seedy as it gets. There are a few dancy places and massage places, but it's all pretty tame. There did used to be a bunch of people around here that looked seedy as fuck. I've heard a few bad stories about them getting you into clubs and then robbing you. It never happened to me. They are often the lowest-level henchmen of the Yakuza (the Japanese mafia). Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
