Check out this old-timer. We drove about an hour outside of Chengdu to see some of the “old ways” since a lot of that has been swept away in the urban growth of China. We came to this old tea house where people were just sitting around having tea and smoking some rather insane-looking pipes. That is literally all they did… all… day… long… But it was really interesting and great for photography. I even sat down and had a little tea for myself! Chengdu, China
Of all of Gaudi's masterworks, this is definitely the most impressive. It's a shame he never got to see it before he died. The guy is an absolute genius. To be able to design all of this on paper is just well beyond my scope of creativity. It would be hard enough just doing it with today's computers and architecture/design programs. I did get some special access here to be able to go up to the balcony where the Pope gets to chill when he comes for services. The photos up there were also quite spectacular. I could have spent all day in here. Barcelona, Spain
This is The Golden Chariot, that we spent 10 days touring Southern India. It was so cool to take Tina and all three kids on such an adventure. That guy sitting there is "Aman," one of the crew of the train that absolutely loved Scarlett. She must have been about 6 years old. She called him "Almond." He kept correcting her with a smile and said, no, my name is "Aman." Scarlett was like, "No, to me, you are Almond. I shall call you Almond." Madurai, India
