Details in Venice

These incredible wooden carvings in Venice reminded me of how much time and craftsmanship people put into their works in the olden days. It still happens today, but it is rare to find something to this level of detail. Some of my works I spend over 100 hours on, while others just an hour or two. Of course, the ones that are "quicker" are the beneficiary of thousands of hours spent on other works so I know what to do more efficiently. Venice, Italy
