I'm probably being a bit hard on myself, but I find this photo to be a little bit boring. I was just thinking... if some rando showed me this photo to critique... I'd probably be a bit harsh and say that it is rather boring. And, it's true! I don't know. Osaka was such a cool and vibrant city and this photo feels rather staid. This is officially the second place with Rene where he fell into the water. The first time was in Venice, and omg is that an epic story. He actually almost died there because it was the middle of the night. This time, he didn’t die, but he did get a little hurt in a funny way. He had the camera really low to the water and a wave came in and started to carry it away. He ran after it and slipped on the moss, making him land on his ass in a rather hilarious manner. Guys are the worst… we just sit around and laugh whenever our friends get mildly injured by doing something silly. Read more: https://www.StuckInCustoms.com
I should really go back to PNG! I only spent a very small amount of time there, but I got so many interesting photos. I can't say there is any place like it anywhere else in the world. The tribes and all their crazy costumes made it feel a lot like Burning Man. Well, a Burning Man where they will cut off your head instead of give you a hug... so I guess it's a BIT different.
