I've finally decided to take action with all nine of these lamps that I've collected from around the world. For the longest time, they've just been sitting around my home… but now, I have a designer working on hanging them all up so it's a cute little path from the main house out to the studio… I'll let you know how it goes! This particular photo was from Istanbul. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
One day while we were staying at one of my art collector's homes in Beverly Hills, we had the team from Plotagraph over, Troy and Sascha. We were having a little catch-up session on Plotagraph, and my friend Tom Anderson was there too (you know, MySpace Tom!). Anyway, we were both ready to take some photos, and since Sascha is a model, she offered to slink around the pool a bit. Troy was really funny – he's a Photographer as well – but he knows how to talk to models… so he was yelling out this and that and cracking me and Tom up… I'll get a recording next time! -Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this entry at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Here's another sculpture by Wellington artist Max Patte. I shot this at The Hills in Arrowtown… a sprawling golf course filled with incredible sculptures like these. These horses are huge too, at least 2x the size of a real horse. People always try to climb them, but then realize how awesome-huge they are. This is one of my favorite times to photograph them – in Autumn just when the grass is getting long. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
