What an awesome city! The first time I was here with my wife, I was sick as a dog. I still went out and took photos because I'm a real trooper, but it was very difficult to get into the flow-state. This time, since our #80stays Tour took us there, I was able to take more time. This is the view from the top floor of the Ritz-Carlton. This is where we had my little after-party art talk at the end of the photo walk. Pretty much everyone went out on the balcony to take a photo or three! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
The red light district goes all day long. It's great people-watching, as you might expect. I think once you get over the discomfort of looking a woman in a window smiling at you, it can be interesting just to observe and not judge or anything. It's all legal here and heavily controlled so nothing fishy goes on and the women are kept safe. No photos of course (I didn't try), but you can take ones that are a bit far away. Fun Fact: If you see a BLUE light inside of one of the windows, then you're looking at a transvestite. Amsterdam, Netherlands
What a dream come true it was to get to this place! Ever since I was a kid, I wanted to go to Morocco to see what it was like. Actually, I was kind of confused by all the Indiana Jones movies and I thought that all the African scenes were here in Morocco, but that wasn't entirely the case! Anyway, I was not disappointed. On this particular night, I found a good high spot over the market area and felt lucky to have an amazing sunset falling over the old city… Marakesh, Morocco
