As far as I can tell, every night in Budapest is pretty much like this! It seems to be a very young city; well, at least that is who I notice out most of the day. This is one of the central locations here. It's sort of a public illuminated bath area across from the Ritz-Carlton. Well, this is not really a bath because you're not supposed to get inside, but it's always surrounded by a bunch of happy people drinking wine and having snacks. We passed it almost every night on the way back home. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Before I made this trip, I had a great plan to go running every day on the beach. I'm great at making plans, but not always so great in the actual execution! Well, for the first few days, I did run on the beach. I started up at the Ritz-Carlton where I was staying and ran about a mile down here. I don't really like beach-running when the sand is soft. It seems to require 4x the effort to fight through the sand. It's way too much work for exercise, and I know that sounds silly. It mostly just makes me very tired very quickly and sends me into a shame spiral. Anyway, every day I ended up down here and I took photos each time. My favorite one was this one, taken with the drone. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Tokyo has so many amazing buildings. I could probably spend all day walking around and just taking these “upwards” photos. They are so easy! This is one great feature I like about the Sony cameras. It has this flip out screen that lets me look straight up. I hate that position where you have to get down underneath the camera and crook your neck all sideways. The moving screen lets me see the scene without the need to hurt myself! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
