Big Cities and Little 'uns
I only spent four days in Hong Kong, so I tried to be as photographically productive as possible. Being the quintessential introvert, I have chosen not to live in big cities so it's a treat when I get to visit them. Nothing wrong with living in big cities, of course, as I know extroverts get a lot of energy from cities that never sleep. I enjoy them too, but only for short visits. Hong Kong has all sorts of different districts, and this is the financial hub of it all. I've been working on this new processing technique that you see here. I'll put together a how-to video soon and share it with you. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Ride...RIDE!!!
The Roman Gladiators of Gaul Nimes has some very well preserved Roman ruins. There is a huge park area that has stone walkways over ancient Roman waterways and this colosseum structure in the middle of town. One of the coolest things about this colosseum is that it is still used on a regular basis! When we were there, they were having a bullfight inside the arena. I have some pictures of the aftermath, including trails of blood in the sand... It's fairly graphic, but you'll have something new to see in coming weeks when I get around to processing those!
