Big Cities and Little 'uns
This is Captain Scott's hut at St. Evans. I was lucky enough to visit all the huts. There are lots of interesting things about this hut, but one of the most interesting, to me, is this was his 2nd expedition to Antarctica, so he knew what he was doing. There were not only a lot more supplies, but also the kitchen fire exhaust pipes weaved around the entire hut to warm it. There was basically always food being prepared, so it kept the inside nice and warm.
