I was a bit worried about riding the bullet train in China because I've had such terrible experiences with travel situations there before. Planes have always been fine. The airports are amazing. But car trips are a disaster, as were all previous train trips. I remember taking one train trip that was the stuff of nightmares. But, I heard the bullet trains were cool, so we decided to try one while there on the Asia tour. Much to my amazement, they were absolutely incredible. I don't post a lot of "family" photos, but when my dad died last year, we went through all the archives and found this one. It's so weird to see your parents as babies, right? It must have been so weird to have grown up back in the olden days. I don't know how those kids survived without Youtube and Tiktok. And how did their parents find their way around without GPS? Sometimes, we take our workshop out to the Gibbston Valley area so they get to see this beautiful area near Queenstown.
