Awesome Earth People
Big Cities and Little 'uns
Continuing on our Venice-Theme for the month (sorry again about all the Venice photos!), this was sort of a special morning because it was the first time we had sun in over a week! It was dreary and foggy for a long time. I love all that moody stuff for sure, but it was a nice change of pace to have the sun blast out at us!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
And speaking of Koh Samui, one evening we went to the other side of the island where the fishing boats come in. That part was pretty interesting, but I was drawn a bit away to these oyster farmers. I waded into the water with them to follow their movements. They would make little “clicking/rubbing” sounds with their fingers to get the oysters to make themselves seen in the sand below. I don't know why that worked, but it does!
