Here's a view of the light streaming through the stained glass windows. And just think, it was a rainy day! Imagine how amazing the light would be if it was sunny outside. I think this place will be under construction for the next 20 years or so… I look forward to coming back after that on a sunny day to take more photos. Lord only knows what kind of camera I'll be using then! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Only one night here! That was no bueno… but I tried to take as many photos as I could as quickly as possible. I was quite exhausted after being on the road for so long… but I knew we only had one night here so I had to rally to get out there and get some photos. I was walking across one of the bridges earlier in the day, and I saw a photo from this perspective. I asked the guy selling the photo where the photo was taken, and he pointed up here towards this park. Rene and I ended up there later this night to do our best to re-capture the scene. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
When you're in a photo-taking mode all day, it's hard to put down the camera at night. Since every day in Venice was filled with photography, it always bled into the night as well. And since it was the middle of Carnivale, then people kept looking awesome all day long. No matter how tired I got, I could not walk by someone like this and NOT take a photo. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
