Ripping through the Wormhole

Ripping through the Wormhole

This was one of the final flights of the U.S. Space Shuttle. NASA had invited me out to take photos, and this photo is actually a complete shot of desperation with my second camera. My first camera had started to buffer (slow down) after taking about a dozen shots as the jets fired up. I was dead in the water. Luckily, I had a spare camera around my neck with a fixed 50mm. I managed to grab one shot just as it passed through a low cloud-cover.
