Awesome Earth People
AI Mind-Benders
The two best times to explore Venice are at sunrise and sunset/night. In the middle of the day, cruise ships dump off thousands and thousands of people, so it's quite touristy. That, in itself, is not bad, but it can have a certain feeling of chaos. It can also be hard to get photos when there are people crawling all over everything. In the middle of the day, after the crowds arrive, I usually go to a quiet non-touristy place to eat an early and long lunch, have wine, and then go back to the hotel for a 2-3 hour nana nap so I am fresh for the night! Venice, Italy
Good lord this place was hard to find! I had quite unremarkable directions. First, it was almost impossible to figure out where to turn off the main highway. There were many dirt road options, and none of them seemed right. And then, at one point, I had to figure out how far down that dirt road to go before taking to my feet to take the last few guesses! I went by this building several times before I even thought about going in. For some reason, it never occurred to me that I might actually be able to go inside and take photos! Of course, I really wanted to go inside, so I was happy when Curtis told me that it’s no problem to get in there. Next time, I think I’d like to go on a private tour and get some special angles and whatnot. I did get in trouble for using my tripod, but not bad trouble. Just a little trouble. A little trouble ain’t so bad… Paris, France
