The New Facebook HQ I had a fun afternoon walking around the new Facebook campus when I was recently there. Here’s a quick one! :)- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
They are all pretty, but they are all kind of the same. I know it sounds jaded, but after you've seen a few, you've seen them all. It reminds me a lot of the Chinese culture how there is a certain design, and then it is copied over and over again. I've been to so many markets where everyone sells the exact same thing. For example, I was in this big mall, and one floor just sold mobile-phone covers. Each store was small, and jam-packed with thousands of covers. And there must have been 50-75 of these shops all side-by-side! It reminds me of an article Dave Barry wrote about him traveling to Japan with his wife. She went out shopping and came back with all this realistic-looking plastic food. Restaurants use these to put in their windows so people know what is inside. Dave asked her why in the hell she bought these. And she said, "I don't know! There was just such a selection!" Beijing, China
Triangle of Fauna Sorry for the dumb name of this photo. I was feeling VERY lame when I made it up. Even here, into my third sentence, I still can’t come up with anything better. Either way, I hope you enjoy the photo!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
