Wow, this is such a cool place. There's not a bad photo of it! I was trying to figure out the economic model for this place. It must have cost tens of millions to build. But there is no entrance fee or anything, or wasn't when I visited. It's part of the "Hudson Yards" project, so maybe that was something they agreed to build for free for the city in exchange for taking over that area of the city to build commercial and residential real estate buildings. That's my guess, and I'm probably right. I didn't take the time to look it up... I find it's more fun to wonder about things and try to figure them out independently. New York City, New York
I must have walked back and forth across these bridges like 30 times! They were so photogenic and really popped as the night colors came online. The bridges had a great pedestrian walking area too. The city is smartly laid out with parks all over the place so it gives you a reason to wander around from bridge to bridge and park to park. I've been in many cities where the downtown area is very poorly planned and they are not walkable at all. A few cities that pop into mind are places like Dallas, Orlando, and Reno. They're fine cities... don't get me wrong... just not really a "joy" to walk around like Pittsburgh. Read more: https://www.StuckInCustoms.com
I don't think this area has an exact name, but it's about 30 minutes north of Haast on the south island of New Zealand. This area was so cool and it makes me want to explore it a lot more! I loved how the ocean was undercutting this cliff face and the trees would just tumble into the water. It should go without saying that I took this with a drone! :) Read more: https://www.StuckInCustoms.com
