Wow, I've been posting a lot of photos from Tokyo lately! Sorry about that; I'm just excited by so many of them! This is that tiny area near Shinjuku where a hundred tiny bars are packed together. Half are up these narrow stairs (each stairway goes to a mysterious bar). I liked how these two stairwells were right by one another. I was just kind of enjoying looking at them when I heard footsteps coming down, so I took a quick photo! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
This is a beautiful little spot in Koh Samui is a serene spot to watch the sunset. Anyone can go here and have drinks to watch the sunset, and you don't have to be a guest of the Ritz-Carlton. They actually do set up little drinking tables on these stepping stones, but no one was out there, so I quickly removed them so they wouldn't get in the way of the shot! - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
I was inside an office-area of Mori Tower (not the observation deck) to get this shot. In the observation tower, they have a bar or restaurant or something that covers up this view! I never understood why observation towers, 100% as far as I can tell, occlude part of the view with such pedantic services. Put those in the MIDDLE PART people, the MIDDLE PART. We are not going to the observation deck to get a wine or a croissant, we are going to get a 360 view. I'm sure this was designed by a committee, and that is why you never see a statue of a committee. - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
