We stayed here at the castle in Glenorchy for several nights preparing for the big Facebook event above! One night we even had a fabulous dinner in the dining room with all the other guests. I think it's like the only castle in New Zealand or something? So it's quite the experience. This is one of my favorite areas to shoot in Hobbiton. You'd think I'd become a little tired of the subject-matter after a while, but I never have! Each little hobbit hole (there are 44 I think?) is perfectly adorned and unique in its own way. Plus, it changes a little with every season. So beautiful! Hobbiton, New Zealand
