I took this in the middle of the Autumn Festival here in Arrowtown, which is about 10 minutes from my home. If you're looking to come to New Zealand in the Autumn (or perhaps will join one of our workshops), then this is a highly recommended festival. It goes for the full week and is a great family event. We go every year, so maybe we'll see you down there!- Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
Night Settles In Feung Huang There is a general poetic peace when it begins to go dark outside and the town comes alight with shopkeepers and villagers come out to turn on the lights. If you look around, you can see them popping on, one at a time, like little fireflies coming out to play for the evening. This area is no different, and it's made even more magical by the little river that flows through the middle of it all. And then you are faced with all these nice decisions... where to eat? where to drink? where to find an inn for the night? - Trey Ratcliff Read more here at the Stuck in Customs blog.
I got in the habit of taking morning photowalks around the property here at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. With these over-water bungalows, there is almost no bad angle! It's so nice to be able to fall out of bed and kind of stumble/amble around, half awake, and see things like this. I was often so morning-groggy that I barely had the wherewithal to actually take a photo! But when I saw this nice rainbow in the distance, I mustered all my focus to try to take a decent shot! - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
