While I was in Gisborne, I got my quadcopter up and around to explore the hillside as much as possible. I hiked around these hills quite a bit, but that gets to be quite exhausting. So, instead, I decided just to relax a little and let my quad do the work for me. At one point, I got a little overzealous and the quadcopter ran out of batteries and got stranded on one of these hillsides... which means my whole plan failed as I had to hike up to the top to recover it. I'm working on a cool project for Tara Iti and I'm excited for it to move forward. I think I'm working on too many art projects right now. They are all moving forward, but a little more slowly than expected. But, that's okay... I've never been working on so many things at once. It keeps me very entertained, but it can also be frustrating as it takes longer to get to the omega for each alpha. Anyway, there are a lot more photos from Tara Iti on the way! When I was in Oamaru, New Zealand, I stopped at this rather eclectic Steampunk Museum. It was a quirky place, for sure, as one might expect. There were a bunch of asian tourists there dressing up in Victorian steampunk outfits, and I found the whole scene to be rather unusual, so I took some photos! What is Steampunk?
