Burning Man
Awesome Earth People
Big Cities and Little 'uns
This was the worst year of sandstorms ever at Burning Man. I was in a rather severe one and completely lost, but I kept walking in a random direction, because it was as good as any. Out of the sand came this Japanese tea ceremony. Right after I took this photo, I sat down and was served tea with floating gold leaf. When I was done, he folded up a small piece of origami and gave it to me. Upon it, the message read, "You are a God." Finally! The thing I've always wanted my wife to say was confirmed by this sand-swept Japanese gentleman. Burning Man, Nevada
A London tumbles over itself with progress, it reminds me more and more of a Las Vegas without the gambling. When I am here, I try to sleep during the day and stay out all night to see what happens with the lights and reflections off the ground. There's often reflections off the ground, because you know there's going to be rain. London, England
This is a new favorite photo of Tekapo! I had a lot of trouble figuring out what composition to use and how to process it (you'll see in the how-to video below), but I'm very happy with the result. Can you believe a lot of locals in New Zealand find this lupin flower to be a pest and a nuisance? I've been trying to collect more and more and plant them at our home! I think they are very pretty! :) - Trey Ratcliff Click here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
