Deeper into Milford Sound Milford Sound has lots of interesting mountains besides the main ones that everyone shoots. The main corridor of dramatic mountains and sea is so alluring that it pulls your eye over there every time. The only way I can ignore it is to actually look through my camera at other areas. Lake Wakatipu in the Late Sun The colors here go a little crazy when the clouds are in the sky! I’m not what it is… I think this very cold lake also does something to the air to make it a bit… thicker… or have more moisture in the air… or something!I took this shot from atop the Skyline Gondola with the trust old 28-300mm lens! The Little Country Stone Cottage This is where Marie Antoinette headed when she wanted to get away from it all, that is, while she was still headed. This location is out in the gardens around Versailles. And it’s not just a little short walk to the main part of Versailles.
