We visited a coastal village where many of the people have fully tattooed faces. It starts at an early age. Here, you can see a little kid laying in their mom's lap while getting the tattoo. It was very cute! Papua New Guinea
What a wonderfully desolate place. In many ways, it was perfect for someone like me, who spends so much time alone and is very comfortable with it. I don't feel lonely or anything… and Antarctica IS only an “alone” place. Even if you happened to be near someone, it's still a place were everyone feels alone, but, strangely, together.
