A few years ago I took the family on an around-the-world trip to study world religions. One of the three Muslim countries we visited was here in Egypt. The others were Oman and Qatar. What a beautiful little island this is? For those of you that don't know, this island is just a short ferry ride from Auckland in New Zealand. It's not a huge island, but big enough to hold a bunch of houses and some little towns. This is also a favorite place for some of the wealthier Kiwis to have a second home that they vacation to. If you get lost in Tokyo around the Shinjuku area, then you're likely to find all sorts of little alleyways like this. Even the alleys in Japan are great! It's always a toss-up as to which place I want to eat... they are all so good. I was considering taking up professional eating so I could train to consume more before next visiting.
