If you make it to Dubai, try to see if you can stay up all night taking photos. It's a good idea for three reasons. First, there is nobody around to get in the way of your shots. Second, the lights in the city are amazing at night and I think it looks even better than in the daytime. Third, and maybe most importantly, you will not be burned to a crisp in 120 heat! New Zealand was NOT a bad place to be during lockdown because I was able to go out on walks in nature every day. How special! Luckily, I live out in the country, so I was able to wander off in different directions. I would take photos almost every day. Here's one of the many paths I walked along the way. As you can see, this isn't exactly the sharpest photo in the world, but I still think it's cool. The shutter was plenty fast enough at 1/250th of a second, but I had to get the ISO up super high to 12800. That's why you see all the grain.
