Big Cities and Little 'uns
I feel like this Blade Runner trope is getting old. I wish I had another comparison to make. Fifth Element, maybe? Yeah, either way, even though I am a total introvert, I do enjoy spending a bit of time in these crazy cities. Maybe because I live in a tiny town of less than 50,000, I get overly excited with my camera when hitting these megacities in China.

I've been to a few of these different floating markets, but I've never seen them from above until this time that I visited Langkawi. Our concierge at the Ritz-Carlton there got us a boat to use for the day. This floating market was much better than my last one near Bangkok. I remember I was there and it must have been 120 degrees with no wind. I got stuck in a boat traffic jam for about three hours, trying to jam-float my way through the market. It was quite miserable, actually! So, this one in Langkawi was about one million times better!

Yeah, so today's Daily Photo was taken about six months after the one above. I like the one above better. I very rarely re-visit the same place twice to try to improve on a shot, and now I'm just filled with more self-doubt than ever. I'll never do it again. Well, maybe.
