Going To and Fro in Venice

It is perhaps the best way to get from place to place in Venice once you get tired of walking. I easily did over 15K steps a day carrying around lots of photo equipment, so I'd often take a break to grab a gondola to take me back home to the hotel. And the photos I would get from the gondola were often more interesting than the ones I got while I was walking around! It made me wonder why I didn't just relax in a gondola all day long.
